My first time shooting steel targets really, and my first steel match (second match I've ever been in). I am certainly behind the curve when it comes to experience, but I feel like I can certainly learn and improve.
I had a very unfortunate mishap on stage 1 where I didn't seat the mag all the way up in there, so no round was chambered, so a) the mag fell free when drawing + no bang. I, however, recovered well, picked up my mag, did decently well with the array of poppers and plate racks! I feel like I have baseline ability that I can build on.
What's so cool about this match (and the shooting sports in general) is that a world class professional was participating, helping, and friendly! Todd Jarrett being there, RO-ing, and chatting with people was very cool. That'd be like playing a round of golf with Phil Mickelson or some pick-up bball with Ray Allen.

^I left ammo behind during a reload, then ran out...and my weak-hand sucks
Placed 27th of 34 in Limited, 38th of 48 overall finish
Lessons: 1) take time with small targets, 2) get more mags, 3) practice one-handed
